It is always advisable for
the relationships between shareholders to be governed
and regulated by a shareholders agreement, then
everyone knows where they are and it can avoid
disputes getting out of hand. Likewise, the directors
of a company should have contracts. If you do
not have these agreements the possibility of disputes
is more likely and the outcome more uncertain.
We can also draft other business agreements,
service contracts, distribution agreements, agency
agreements, resolutions and letters for the board
of directors to use, etc.
The relationship between a company and their
customers is one of the most important and to
ensure that the relationship runs as smoothly
as possible. You do this by having appropriate
terms and conditions. For instance, you may wish
to limit your liability or to say what happens
if there is a particular breach.
When you come to buy or sell a business we can
help with the purchase of the shares of a company
or if you are buying the assets only. There may
also be property and employees (beware TUPE) involved.
We can discuss all of the issues with you.
